Historic Race Car Mechanic
Full Time
Pegasus Classic Engineering specialises in the restoration, preparation, and operation of historic racing cars from the 1950s to the present day.
Our team boasts over 80 years of racing experience across various prestigious platforms, including Formula 1, Le Mans, and GT racing.
We’re seeking an experienced and detail-driven race car mechanic with a minimum of four years’ experience in classic car restoration and race preparation. Race team experience is beneficial, but not essential. A strong understanding of light fabrication and welding is preferred.
Your responsibilities will include –
Preparing race cars for UK and European events
Carrying out full ground-up rebuilds and restorations
Gearbox rebuilding
Fibreglass bodywork fitting and assembly
Attending race meetings and test days across the UK and Europe
Motorsport HGV Driver
Full Time
We’re a small, hardworking motorsport team looking for a committed Motorsport Truckie to join us on a full-time basis, working both at our workshop in Lutterworth and driving our truck across Europe and the UK for our race meetings. This is a very hands-on position where you’ll play a key role in keeping our operation moving.
At race meetings, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting our cars, kit, and equipment to European and UK-based circuits, and you’ll be an important part of our tight-knit crew once at the circuit.
When based in the workshop, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering goods, as well as assisting with the general maintenance and upkeep of the workshop and our vehicles.
